Cloud Buster

DESCRIPTION
This project was completed in my second year of the Game Design program. The making of Cloud Buster was a project which had the team better understand what the central pillars of the game were and developing the game around them. With the core of our game being the tight player movement and captivating visuals, we decided on making a pixel 2D side-scrolling platformer which evokes a nostalgic aesthetic accompanied by innovative mechanics. 

This ~6 month long project was an opportunity for the team to learn about common game development workflows like scrum & agile, then putting what we learned into practice. Developing Cloud Buster was also a fantastic teaching opportunity for better understanding how to present ones self while working on team projects and to practice interpersonal skills like communication, collaboration, compassion, and patience.
